Andalee is an indepedent illustrator located in Orange County, California. She tutors English at the local community college and works indepedently as an illustrator. She loves to design patterns, food, landscapes, and pet portraits using gouache, watercolor, and digital media.

She attended California State University, Fullerton for her BA and MA degree in English. She has one year of studies completed for a teaching reading certificate, along with a certificate in graphic design. Prior to CSUF she attended the Art Institute of Orange County for a BA program in Interactive Media Design, a program combining web design, motion graphics, film, graphic design, and fine art studies. She also loves theory and literature. Her favorite novel is Frankensteinand she wrote her master's project on the role of women in early American Victorian detective fiction.

She has worked in graphic design for 10 years and looks forward to future illustration projects that may expand her repetoire. Currently she is exploring pattern design and combining traditional gouache with digital mediums.
